Youth Support Aide (ABA)

About the role

We are hiring a Youth Support Aide (ABA) to work one-on-one with children and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and similar developmental or behavioral challenges.

Responsibilities

• Supporting clients in developing social, communication, and behavioral skills
• Documenting progress and milestones
• Implementing behavior change plans created by Board Certified Behavior Analysts

Qualifications

• Passion for working with individuals with special needs
• Excellent communication and technological skills
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum age of 18
• Successful completion of 40-hour ABA training and current CPR/First Aid certification
• Current PPD or Chest X-ray
• Experience in psychology, education, social work, or related fields, or at least one year working with children in relevant roles

Key duties involve supporting behavioral development, documenting progress, and following plans set by behavioral specialists.
