Youth Sports Director of Development & Expansion
Responsibilities
- Oversight and assistance in creating and executing a business marketing plan
- Management and supervision of part-time staff members (including hiring/firing) and volunteer coaches
- Serving as a lead for all league-wide communications
- Development of rosters, schedules, and programming for various sports
- Overseeing the daily operation of youth sports leagues, camps, and clinics
- Consistently demonstrating a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
- Creation of relationships and programs that enhance business operations
Requirements
- Excellent communication & organization skills
- Highly motivated self-starter; capable of working independently & solving problems
- Awareness & ability to take charge of any situation to ensure player safety
- A positive attitude and strong ability to build professional relationships
- Ability to work a varied work schedule including some nights and weekends
