Youth Sports Coach - Tennis, Golf, & Pickleball

About the role

TGA Premier Sports offers a national, school-based enrichment program that brings Tennis, Golf, & Pickleball directly to children ages 3-14 years old across Wake and Durham counties. Classes typically occur on school campuses during after-school hours (between 2:00-5:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Work with children ages 3-14 in Tennis, Golf, and Pickleball classes.
• Engage with children in a fun and educational manner.
• Communicate effectively with administrators and parents.
• Follow the provided curriculum and training materials.

Requirements

• Strong passion for working with children and helping them grow.
• Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and engage like a kid when needed.
• Great communication skills and a positive, reliable, professional attitude.
• Experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.).
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.

Qualifications

• No prior coaching experience required — TGA provides all curriculum and training.
• Able to work flexible afternoons (2-5 days per week) with short shifts (typically 1-3 hours per day).
• Reliable transportation and ability to transport equipment to and from class.
• Ability to complete onboarding paperwork promptly.
