Youth Sports Coach - Tennis, Golf, & Pickleball

About the role

TGA Premier Sports offers a national, school-based enrichment program that brings Tennis, Golf, & Pickleball directly to children ages 3-14 years old across Wake and Durham counties. Classes typically take place on school campuses during after-school hours (between 2:00-5:00 PM).

Responsibilities

• Work with children ages 3-14 years old
• Engage in fun, playful activities to help kids grow
• Communicate effectively with administrators and parents
• Transport equipment to and from class as needed
• Complete onboarding paperwork promptly

Requirements

• Strong passion for working with kids and helping them grow
• Willingness to step out of your comfort zone and engage like a kid when needed
• Great communication skills
• A positive, reliable, professional attitude
• Genuine passion for sports, movement, and keeping kids active
• No prior coaching experience required — we provide all curriculum and training
• Experience working with children in any setting (schools, camps, babysitting, volunteering, etc.)

Qualifications

• Afternoon (around 2:30-5:30pm) availability (2-5 days per week)
• Willingness to work short shifts (typically 1-3 hours per day)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability and willingness to transport equipment to and from class
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test (required by partner schools)
