Youth Specialist I - Juvenile Detention-Court Services

Job Summary

The Elkhart County Juvenile Detention Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Care Specialist to join their dynamic team. This position will be responsible for providing direct care supervision and program services to all residents. This position will also be responsible for meeting the safety/security and emotional needs of all residents.

Job Requirements

- High school graduate or equivalent. - Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice or human service delivery preferred. - Must obtain proper certifications within first 6 months of employment and maintain those certifications. - Valid Drivers' License. - Hepatitis B Vaccine. - Eligible Pre-employment background check, drug test, and physical exam required.
