Description
The Youth Sports Instructor is responsible for the instruction and supervision of participants in the soccer program while maintaining a safe learning environment. The instructor will engage young athletes through demonstrations and teach the basic fundamentals of soccer.
Hours
May range from 3-4 hours per week
Schedule
Saturday mornings, September – October
Location
O’Hauser Park (1986 O’Leary Rd.)
Examples of Duties
- Leads instructor soccer skills to youth, ages 2-6 years old.
- Provides a fun learning experience.
- Maintains safety and well-being of all participants.
- Fosters a positive environment that promotes growth and development.
- Maintains written records as required.
- Maintains a consistent and reliable attendance record.
- Performs any related duties as assigned.
Minimum Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Attending (or completed) high school or equivalent education program is preferred.
- Previous experience working with children is preferred.
- Previous experience and knowledge of soccer preferred.
The Village of Fox Crossing does not offer benefits with this position.
