Youth Soccer Instructor

Soccer Shots is a non-competitive, character-focused soccer program that introduces the game to children ages 2–8. Our caring team positively impacts children’s lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum, and communication.

About the role

We’re looking for part-time coaches who are passionate about working with children and bringing energy and enthusiasm to every session.

• Great pay: $20–$24/hour, with opportunities for advancement (sessions are typically 30–45 minutes)
• Flexible scheduling: Seasonal (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter)
• Paid training
• Variety of locations: Childcare centers, preschools, and public programs

Coaching Shifts Available

• Weekday mornings: 9:00am–12:30pm
• Weekend mornings: 9:00am–12:30pm

Responsibilities

• Confidently lead groups of 10+ children in a fun, structured environment
• Engage and interact with young children (ages 2–8) in a positive, patient, and adaptable manner
• Maintain a safe, attentive, and professional environment for children, parents, staff, and partners
• Collaborate with the team and communicate effectively

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Experience with children is key; soccer experience is a plus but not required
• Reliable transportation with a clean driving record (equipment transport may be required)
• Must pass a state background check and FBI fingerprinting
• Responsible, timely, and safety-conscious
• Outgoing, energetic, and able to connect with young children
• Flexible and adaptable when things don’t go as planned
