Job Summary
This is an On-site, Part-Time/Temporary Position The Youth Soccer Coordinator will assist with overall program development of our Soccer for Success after-school programming. This includes, but is not limited to, facilitating practices, officiating scrimmages, and providing on-site leadership during practices and games. The Youth Soccer Coordinator will also provide guidance to Youth Soccer Instructors while in program.

- Mondays and Fridays
- From 3:30pm to 5:00pm

Responsibilities
- Assists in the delivery of culturally relevant and developmentally appropriate activities for assigned youth sports programs.
- Assists in conducting staff meetings and trainings.
- Provides guidance, leadership and direction to youth sports instructors, referees and volunteers as needed.
- Professionally engages with parents/guardians to provide pertinent information about their child’s experience and to promote upcoming programs.
- Safeguards supplies by ensuring they are clean and safe, set up and stored properly.
- Reports equipment problems to supervisor.
- Attends staff meetings and trainings as required.
Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Knowledge of sports.
- One or more years of experience working with children.
- Strong customer service skills, responding to multiple questions via phone, email and in person.
- Ability to problem solve and resolve conflict.
- Strong computer skills and experience working with word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.
- Knowledge of standard office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems.
- Current state approved first-aid certification.
- Current state approved infant/child (or community if school aged) CPR certification.
