Youth Soccer Coach
Soccer Shots is an engaging children's soccer program for children ages 2-8 with a focus on character development. Our caring team positively impacts children's lives on and off the field through best-in-class coaching, curriculum and communication.
About the role
After completing our paid training program, coaches earn $25/hour and have the opportunity to earn up to $30/hour through advancement with our team. This is a year-round position with sessions available Monday-Sunday. Coaches can work weekends only, with the potential to join weekday sessions if interested.
Responsibilities
- View and print attendance for the day's sessions
- Arrive 15-30 minutes before your session begins in uniform with a neat, professional appearance
- Greet the families and children at Soccer Island
- Teach the week's curriculum in each 30-45 minute session
- Lead engaging, developmentally appropriate activities while having fun
- Connect with children on an individual level
- Update attendance online after completing the day's sessions
Requirements
- Experience working with groups of children
- High-energy, outgoing, and positive personality
- Valid driver's license and access to a car during working hours
- Available at least one weekend morning for each season
- Year-round availability (this is not a seasonal position)
Schedule
Weekend availability required: Saturday & Sunday AM (8-12 PM) and/or Saturday PM (3-5 PM). There may be opportunity for more hours in the future.
Pay
$25/hour after training, with opportunity to earn up to $30/hour through advancement.
