Youth Soccer Coach

The Job:

• Conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down.

Qualifications:

• No prior sports/coaching experience required.

About the Role

Soccer Shots Pittsburgh is looking for a passionate part-time soccer coach to serve children ages 2-8. The ideal candidate will bring energy, creativity, and a genuine passion for children and sports.

Responsibilities

As a Soccer Shots coach, you will conduct soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, encouraging character development through positive reinforcement and modeling. You will also foster a safe and inclusive environment for all participants and follow all on-site safety and attendance protocols.

Requirements

No prior sports/coaching experience is required. Candidates should be energetic, engaging, and responsible, with a genuine passion for children and sports. They must also be safety conscious and able to adapt to the needs of kids ages 2-8.

Qualifications

Candidates must have access to reliable transportation and be able to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills. Additionally, coaches must have or obtain state-required clearances.

Skills

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and enjoy working with children. A background in early childhood education or sports coaching is not necessary but can be helpful.
