Position Summary
The Youth Services Specialist supports Bright Future Foundations' mission by providing violence prevention programming at various levels, working with youth survivors aged 9-25 and their families.
Responsibilities
- Administers all Buddy Mentor activities, including recruitment, mentor training, and planning/scheduling of Buddy events.
- Oversees the implementation of school-based programs using evidence-based prevention models and assessment measures.
- Serves as the lead coordinator for youth outreach, planning and organizing program involvement.
- Maintains regular communication with the advocacy and behavioral health teams regarding youth advocacy, programming, and community partnerships.
- Attends staff meetings, maintains client records, compiles program updates, implements assessment and quality assurance measures, and provides general office support as needed.
- Provides emergency, on-call coverage for the 24-7 crisis line on a rotating basis.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, education).
- Experience working with youth and families in a trauma-informed manner.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Qualifications
- Experience in violence prevention and/or youth development.
- Knowledge of evidence-based prevention models and assessment tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for supporting youth and families impacted by violence.
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of data management and reporting.

Pay
$57,100 to $62,800 annually.
Schedule
This is a full-time position with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
