Youth Services Associate
About the role
The Joliet Public Library is looking for an innovative Youth Services Associate to provide positive customer service and exciting programming at the renovated Ottawa Street location. Joliet is an economically and ethnically diverse community of 150,000 residents encompassing four school districts, a mix of urban and suburban environments, and a large Spanish-speaking population. The downtown building is in the heart of the City and is a hub for children and teens looking for activities, enrichment, and access to resources. All Youth Services staff members participate in outreach events like family reading nights and neighborhood festivals. The Department runs activities for kids from birth through high school, and it needs someone who loves working with grade school students. Every day at the Joliet Public Library you will see the impact that you have on our community and for the people who need us most.
