About the role
The Wyoming Boys' School is seeking an Overnight Youth Services Aide to work in a structured residential setting with adjudicated male youth ages 12–21. The role involves direct supervision, maintaining a safe environment, and supporting youth in developing life skills and responsible decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and supportive environment for youth
- Supervise daily activities and prepare students for cleaning, breakfast, hygiene, and educational group activities
- Respond promptly to emergencies or crises
- Apply physical and non-physical intervention skills in crisis situations
Requirements
- An interest in human services, youth development, education, criminal justice, psychology, social work, or behavioral health
- The ability to remain calm, professional, and consistent in challenging situations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A willingness to learn behavior management and intervention techniques
Qualifications
- Prioritize applicants with a high school diploma and one year of work experience with the public or youth
- Knowledge of RIGHT RESPONSE principles and physical and non-physical intervention skills in crises
- Skills in observation, basic report writing, and verbal/non-verbal communication

Schedule
Shifts start at 10:00 PM and end at 8:00 AM, Monday through Friday.
