Responsibilities
- Help set-up, clean-up and take down tables and chairs for the summer camp program.
- Aid the camp counselors in special projects, such as arts & crafts, setting out gym equipment and putting equipment away.
- Aid counselors in daily group activities for campers.
- Aid with campers transitioning including Morning greeting (Parent Drop off / pick up); field trips; room transitions etc.
- Aid with lunch, snack times (set up, break down, and cleanliness of the facility).
- Aid with concessions transactions.
- Provide necessary activity set up including supplies, material, equipment, and/or water.
- Perform light clerical duties including attendance rolls, answering phones, or providing correct information.
- Perform light custodian duties.

- Likely and willing to work with children.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Minimum Requirements
- Must be 14 - 18 years of age.
- Must be a student currently enrolled in school.
- Must be a resident of the City of Fort Myers.
- Must meet the Department of Children and Families (DCF) requirements and inspections when assigned to working with Youth.

- Mental Acuity – ability to make rational decisions through sound logic, deductive reasoning.
- Pulling – use upper extremities to exert force, haul or tug.
- Pushing – use upper extremities to press against objects with force, or thrust forward, downward, outward.
- Reaching – extend hands or arms in any direction.
- Repetitive Motion – substantial movements of wrists, hands, fingers.
- Speaking – express ideas with spoken word, convey detailed, important instructions accurately, concisely.
- Standing – for sustained periods of time.
- Stooping – bend body downward, forward at waist, with full motion of lower extremities and back.
- Talking 1 – express ideas by spoken word.
- Talking 2 – shout to be heard above ambient noise.
- Visual Acuity 2 – color, depth perception, field of vision.
- Visual Acuity 3 – determine accuracy, neatness, observe facilities/structures.
- Visual Acuity 4 – operate motor vehicles/heavy equipment.
- Visual Acuity 5 – close acuity for inspection of small defects, machines, use measurement devices, or fabricate parts.
- Walking – on foot to accomplish tasks, long distances, or site to site.
Work Environment
- Contact with internal and external customers, vendors, outside agencies, and the general public.
