About the role
The role is based in various in-person locations including Beverly Hills, CA; Piedmont, CA; Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; and Seattle, WA. Relocation assistance is available.
Responsibilities
- Facilitating one-hour live workshops on life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) for K-8 students, using Alpha's established framework
- Conducting daily motivational sessions to ensure 100% student achievement of weekly app-based goals through age-appropriate incentives such as school currency systems and performance leaderboards
- Developing Guides via direct observation, precise feedback, and practical coaching to ensure they execute workshops with equivalent energy and accuracy
- Analyzing Coachbot data and student records to detect students requiring additional support, then providing that intervention directly
- Directly mentoring your assigned student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all Guides
Requirements
- Currently located in or prepared to relocate to one of the specified locations
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related area
- Demonstrated experience creating and executing educational programs, curricula, or training systems
- Proven history of managing teams of 5 or more individuals, including responsibility for recruitment and performance-driven termination decisions
- Background in coaching, mentoring, or delivering constructive feedback to enhance engagement and outcomes
- Direct experience working with children ages 5–14 in educational or developmental contexts
- Skilled in leveraging data and metrics to inform decisions and drive ongoing improvement
Basic Requirements
- Legal authorization to work in the United States

- Master's degree in Education, Psychology, or Business
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp director, or youth program coordinator where you directly motivated children toward quantifiable objectives
- History coaching adults in positions where performance was measured and evaluated
- Confidence engaging large groups of children
