Youth Peer Support

About the role

Riverwood Center is seeking candidates for various positions. Foster care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance to individuals in need
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist with daily living activities and ensure safety
• Maintain accurate records and documentation

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Current CPR certification
• Experience working with individuals with mental illness, intellectual & developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in behavioral health or related field
• Knowledge of community resources and referral systems

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
