What You’ll Do
- Support youth experiencing emotional, behavioral, substance use, or developmental challenges.
- Help youth build life and coping skills, set goals, and navigate services independently.
- Share your personal story of recovery (as appropriate) to provide hope and connection.
- Encourage youth to take an active role in their treatment and transition into adulthood.
- Connect youth with community resources, peer groups, and support networks.
- Serve as an advocate and mentor to help youth voice their needs and overcome barriers.
- Accurately and promptly document services provided.
What We’re Looking For
- Lived experience with challenges such as mental health, substance use, foster care, juvenile justice involvement, or special education.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Good organizational and time management skills.
