Youth Pastor

Leatherwood Baptist Church in Anniston, Alabama, is seeking a full-time Youth Pastor.

About the role

We are looking for a passionate follower of Christ who loves students, teaches God's Word faithfully, equips volunteers, and has a vision for reaching the next generation.

Responsibilities

• Teach God's Word faithfully to students
• Equip volunteers to support youth ministry
• Build relationships with students and their families
• Develop and implement programs that engage and challenge students
• Collaborate with other church leaders to integrate youth ministry into the broader church mission

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Theology, or a related field
• Experience working with teenagers and young adults
• Strong biblical knowledge and ability to teach effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for youth ministry and a heart for students

Qualifications

• Passionate about Jesus Christ and His Word
• Effective communicator both verbally and in writing
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
• Commitment to the values and mission of Leatherwood Baptist Church

Skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
