About the role
The Youth Justice Therapist provides comprehensive assessment and therapeutic services to incarcerated youth within an ODYS correctional facility.
Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth bio/psycho/social assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Collaborate with ODYS and court staff to ensure client needs are met
- Make treatment recommendations
- Prepare discharge summaries
- Maintain documentation in required systems
- Adhere to confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Participate in training and professional development
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Counseling
- Licensure (LSW, LPC, or MFT)
- Experience in therapy or assessments with youth
