Youth & Family Instructors (P/T)

We are looking for energetic, caring part-time instructors to lead programs for children, teens, and families in our Youth, Teen & Family Department.

Open Positions & Schedules

• Preschool Classes Instructor

  Work with children ages 1 to 5.

  Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

  Available shifts: Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. & Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

• Gymnastics Instructor

  Work with children ages 3 to 12.

  Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

  Available shift: Saturdays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

• Teen Mentor / Instructor

  Work with middle school students in grades 5 through 8.

  Pay rate: $15.00 per hour.

  Available shift: Monday through Thursday from 2:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, safe, and positive activities for children and teens.
• Help participants learn new skills and build confidence.
• Supervise groups to ensure everyone stays safe and included.
• Communicate kindly with parents and family members.

Requirements

• Experience working with kids, coaching, or teaching is a plus.
• Reliable, patient, and full of positive energy.
• Strong communication and basic leadership skills.
• Ability to obtain PA State Police, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprint, and National Sex Offenders Registry Clearances (YMCA will assist if needed).
