Youth & Family Behavioral Interventionist

About the Role

Behavioral Health Intervention Services (BHIS) are Iowa Medicaid-covered services that support youth with diagnosed mental health conditions by teaching skills to manage behaviors and improve functioning. Services are provided in the home, school, or community and include individual, group, and family skill-building, crisis support, and parent training. The goal is to help children and families build coping skills, emotional regulation, and positive behavior patterns to support long-term stability.
