YOUTH ENGAGEMENT OFFICER
About the role
Our client are one of Wales’ leading training providers of skills and funded services. They deliver Traineeships, Apprenticeships, Employability Skills and Jobs Growth Wales through their suite of funded programmes.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage and recruit new learners to Itec Jobs Growth Wales + programme
- Using a variety of sales, business development and marketing techniques to attract new learners
- Working to key performance indicators
- Establish new business and maximising on existing business partnerships for learner opportunities
- New learner generation, including sales calls, external networking events, digital activities and working within the community to engage with potential learners
- Building effective relationships with local schools and other relevant community-based venues to attract new learners
- Liaising with 3rd party organisations, partnership companies, charities, voluntary and educational networks as required
- Arranging and attending promotional events to attract new learners and to raise the profile of the organisation as required
- Establishing and maintaining excellent working relationship with all stakeholders, ensuring the best image of Itec is always promoted.
- Build strategic relationships with Centre Leads and Learner Coaches to ensure a seamless transition of new learners onto programme
Requirements
- Experience of working with young people
- Full driving licence with use of your own vehicle

Pay
£25,000 – £27,000 dep plus excellent benefits including 30 days holidays plus bank holidays, pension, laptop, mobile, 35 hour week 4.30pm finish, employee ownership and much more
