Youth Engagement Coordinator I

About the role

Youth Engagement Coordinator Region 8 – New Mexico, Oklahoma, & Texas. The position encompasses oversight of Ducks Unlimited's youth programs in Region 8 which includes the following states: New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas. The chosen candidate must reside in or relocate to the Austin (TX) area and will office from their home. This position is remote but requires travel. As a remote employee, you may be required to come in at any time, with reasonable notice, into a DU office (or other designated location) for meetings and other business needs.

Responsibilities

• Grow the organization’s Varsity membership through engagement with youth shooting sports and the FFA.
• Promotion of the DU TRAP program to youth shooting sports teams.
• Promote DU’s R3 programs with state partners and NGOs to increase youth shooting and hunting participation.
• Recruitment of new Varsity (high school) chapters and volunteers to the organization
• Increase awareness of Ducks University (collegiate) program and assist in recruitment of volunteers and members into existing chapters
• Build and maintain relationships with State Youth Engagement Chairs to promote DU’s youth engagement programs
