Youth Direct Support Professional (DSP)

About the role

The RiverView youth program supports girls aged 6 to 17 with disabilities and mental illness. The program is located in Duluth, MN, near the Lake Superior Zoo.

Responsibilities

• Assist with medication administration
• Perform household duties
• Manage behavior
• Support personal hygiene and medical care
• Engage in community activities

Requirements

• Pass a post-offer background check
• Hold a valid driver’s license and pass an MVR check if working days or evenings
• Be 21 or older to work in youth foster care settings

Schedule

• Summer and Weekends: 6:00 am- 2:30 pm, 2:00 pm- 9:15/9:30 pm
• School: 6:00 am- 8:30 am, 2:00 pm/3:00 pm/4:00 pm- 9:30 pm

Pay

• Salary: $23.25-$25.75 per hour
• Rate exception: $4.50-$6.50 per hour (for more significant staff support needs)
