Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all organizational health and safety policies and implement safety practices at the assigned site.
  • Take necessary precautions to protect members, staff, equipment, materials, and facilities.
  • Follow facility maintenance protocols to ensure compliance and report incidents within required timelines.
  • Maintain discipline and de-escalate conflicts between members and/or others.
  • Obtain and renew CPR and First Aid certification by the deadline.
  • Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time, including data collection and reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy of data and reporting, including assessments and measurement activities of programs.
  • Comply with all administrative policies, procedures, processes, and controls.
  • Accurately and timely collect and review membership applications, paperwork, reports, and data entry.
  • Utilize all BGCGTC communication tools regularly and effectively.
  • Oversee assigned programming and activities, ensuring quality and implementing YPQ techniques.
  • Promote and maintain a culture of safety in program areas.
  • Manage assigned special programs and initiatives.
  • Provide excellent customer service at the front desk.
  • Enforce all security, safety, and health protocols.
  • Manage front door traffic efficiently and ensure members are checked in/out properly using childcare management systems.
  • Serve as a positive role model, maintain emotional control, and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Represent the Boys & Girls Club positively.
  • Complete all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with youth.
  • Available to work between 2 pm–7 pm, Monday–Friday during the school year; up to 37.5 hours per week during summer, Monday–Friday.
  • Ability to be a positive role model and establish rapport with youth.
  • Ability to relate to at-risk youth and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Must pass all required background screens and drug screens.

Pay

$12.60 per hour
