Job Summary
Plans, implements, supervises members, and evaluates activities provided within a specific program area, supporting the Red Shield Youth Center priority outcome areas of Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles, Good Character, and Citizenship. May oversee special programs and/or events (i.e., Keystone, Youth of the Year and Awards Programs), and/or participate in the implementation of other unit activities as necessary. In absence of the Program Coordinator, may provide supervision oversight to other Youth Development Professionals to ensure continuity of program services at unit/branch locations.

- Interact with children and teens with patience and respect.
- Prepare and maintain records and reports in an accurate and complete manner.
- Support and coordinate activities and events.
- Clearly communicate roles and responsibilities to individuals and groups.
- Schedule meetings.
- Work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
- Operate and generally maintain all office equipment, including but into limited to the copier, fax machine.
- Proficient with Windows & Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Education And Experience
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous work in related field with Children and Youth preferred.
- Commitment to actively participate in a Professional Development Plan including Level II & Levell III Training which includes completion of 20 Credit Hours of Red Shield Youth Center of America Spillett Training.
