Responsibilities

  • Coaching Guides to deliver exceptional student experiences consistently while upholding Alpha's rigorous standards.
  • Facilitating engaging life skills workshops that cultivate communication, leadership, focus, and other practical competencies for K-12 students.
  • Inspiring students to pursue ambitious learning objectives and maximize their progress within self-directed academic programs.
  • Leveraging data, direct observation, and coaching dialogues to enhance Guide effectiveness and student results.
  • Supporting the launch and establishment of new Alpha campuses by developing a culture grounded in excellence, accountability, and relentless improvement.

Requirements

  • Basic Requirements:
  • Willingness to work on-site at an Alpha campus (relocation assistance available): Greenwich, CT; Boca Raton, FL; Miami, FL; Miami Beach, FL; Boston, MA; Raleigh, NC; New York City, NY; Orange County, CA; Santa Barbara, CABachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, or a related leadership capacity.
  • Demonstrated success leading and developing teams of five or more individuals.
  • Proven experience leveraging data to drive performance gains.
  • Experience working with children ages 5-14 in an educational, coaching, or developmental context.
  • Experience establishing or launching a new team, program, business, school, or initiative.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Nice-to-have Requirements:
  • Experience coaching youth through athletics, debate, camps, or extracurricular activities.
  • Outstanding public speaking and storytelling abilities.
  • A proven record of attaining high levels of academic, professional, or athletic achievement.
  • Experience driving teams toward ambitious objectives while sustaining strong accountability.
  • A commitment to challenging traditional education paradigms and contributing to a reimagined model for K-12 learning.
