About the role

The Youth Crisis Center is seeking a part-time Case Manager and Safety Monitor to join our team. This position involves providing crisis intervention, safety monitoring, and support services to youth in need.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and safety monitoring to youth in crisis situations
• Assess and document the needs of each youth client
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Ensure all clients are provided with necessary resources and referrals
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (social work, psychology, etc.)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in a mental health or social service setting
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
• Experience working with at-risk youth
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles

Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Pay

The salary range for this position is $20-$25 per hour.
