About the role

The Youth Counsellor plays a pivotal role as a main support figure for young individuals here at Vantage. This awake overnight shift is 11:30pm – 8:00am and is vital to ensure around-the-clock support.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with clients and staff with professional boundaries
• Delivers services to young people and families within a well-organized environment

Requirements

• Diploma or undergraduate degree in Human Services (or actively enrolled), e.g., Child and Youth Care, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
• Experience working with young people is preferred.
• Current certifications in Standard First Aid/Level C CPR, PIC, IRC, Valid Driver’s License, and Driver’s Abstract.
