About the role

This position is bonus eligible! We offer a 4-day work week at $20/hr.

Responsibilities

  • Build mentoring relationships with youth
  • Support daily routines and skill-building
  • Coach youth in emotional regulation and positive decision-making
  • Participate in recreational and outdoor activities
  • Work as part of a supportive team, no one handles crises alone

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 21 years old
  • Meet one of the following minimum qualification pathways:
    • Two (2) years of full-time experience working with children (paid or volunteer)
    • Seven (7) years of parenting experience
    • An associate’s degree or higher with at least 12 credits in human services or a related field, awarded by a regionally accredited college or university
  • If not meeting any of the above, must sign a formal education agreement stating they will complete 12 credits in human services within 2 years of hire, and provide documentation showing completion of 3 credits every 6 months, starting from the date of hire.

Pay

$20 per hour starting pay

4-day work week
2nd shift (afternoon/evening hours)
