Multiple positions available across Las Cruces, Sunland Park, Silver City, Deming, Socorro, and Hidalgo/Catron County.

Target salary range: $43,908.80 - $54,885.74. Full-time, exempt position contingent upon external funding.

About the Role

The Youth Career Navigator provides participant-centered navigation services to in-school and out-of-school youth enrolled in the Youth Link program. This role supports participants in developing and achieving education, training, and employment goals through intake, assessment, career planning, workforce preparation activities, work-based learning experiences, support service coordination, and ongoing progress monitoring.

The Youth Career Navigator collaborates with workforce, education, employer, and community partners to support participant success, facilitate access to services, and promote progression along career and education pathways that lead to career and economic mobility.

Responsibilities

• Provide participant-centered navigation services to youth in the Youth Link program.
• Support youth in developing and achieving education, training, and employment goals.
• Conduct intake, assessment, and career planning activities.
• Facilitate workforce preparation activities and work-based learning experiences.
• Coordinate support services and monitor participant progress.
• Collaborate with workforce, education, employer, and community partners.
• Promote career and education pathways for economic mobility.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree + 7 years of relevant experience or Bachelor's degree + 5 years of relevant experience.
• Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment.
• No or very limited physical effort required; occasional handling of objects up to 10 pounds.
