Job Duties
- Delivers counseling services to assigned residential and non-residential students focused on personal and social development, career employment, and behavior.
- Provides individual and group counseling and crisis intervention to all students.
- Provides ongoing structured, scheduled, and documented individual social development, adjustment, career, and personal counseling weekly.
- Identifies students who need more intensive services and referral to such services, ensuring intervention, implementation, and documentation of strategies to address personal issues, including mental health, medical issues, and English Language Learners.
- Conducts Career Management Team meetings.
- Ensures appropriate pre-arrival and departure activities to engage students and develop initial center and post-center plans and goals.
Experience
- One year of experience in counseling or related field.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited College or University – minimum of 15 semester hours of instruction in social services-related instruction.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Valid State Drivers’ License.
