About the role
Rite of Passage Team is hiring Youth Care Workers at Sierra Sage Treatment Center in Yerington, Nevada. The center provides residential treatment for young women, focusing on skills development to help them overcome various challenges.
Responsibilities
- Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in the program.
- Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
- Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
- Work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment plan.
Requirements
- Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
- Have a desire to work with troubled teens.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
- Pass a search of the child abuse central registry.

Schedule
- 3.5 days per week: A shift - Wednesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday: Wednesday 1:00pm to 8:30pm and 6:30am – 8:30pm Thursday-Saturday.
- B shift - Sunday/Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday: 6:30am-8:30pm Sunday-Tuesday and Wednesday 6:30am to 2:00pm.
Pay
Starting at $19.00 an hour, with the possibility of 12 hours of overtime each pay period.
