What You Will Do/Day In The Life
- Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision of at-risk youth.
- Provide for the physical, personal and health needs of each student through individual counseling and behavioral/social/physical and educational skill development.
- Provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students;
- Monitor and document student behaviors and activities;
- Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
Qualifications
- Empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect;
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- At least 21 years of age;
- A desire to work with troubled teens;
- Pass a DCF criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test;
- No previous experience required, but previous work with youth is preferred.
Schedule
We are hiring for nights: 7 pm to 8 am. One week staff work 4 days the next staff work 3 days.
