About the role
The Youth Care Advocate will provide support and guidance to young people in need, ensuring they have access to resources and services that promote their well-being and development.
Responsibilities
- Assist youth in accessing educational, health, and social services
- Provide emotional support and counseling to youth
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate records and reports of interactions with youth
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience working with youth
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Knowledge of child welfare laws and regulations
- Experience with crisis intervention and trauma-informed care
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Salary range: $35,000 - $45,000 annually
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend shifts as needed
