Youth Camps Assistant Instructor

Responsibilities

• Assist campers (ages 8--15) with coding, 3D modeling, and game design hurdles in Roblox, Minecraft, and Creative Suites.
• Manage hardware setup, software logins, and digital project saving for up to 22 students.
• Partner with the Lead Instructor to deliver Black Rocket curriculum and facilitate small-group breakout sessions.
• Adapt technical concepts for different skill levels to ensure every student completes their project.
• Maintain high "camp spirit" and keep students focused and motivated during 3-hour sessions.
• Monitor group dynamics and safety during transitions between morning and afternoon blocks.

Required Qualifications

1. 18 years of age or older
2. College students studying education, computer science, digital arts, information technology, or in similar fields are encouraged to apply.
3. Strong tech or digital arts and troubleshooting skills.
4. Experience with kids in a formal or informal setting is a plus, such as babysitting, volunteering, or other relevant experience.
