Pro Skills Basketball (PSB) is the premier national youth basketball organization in America and a member of the Jr. NBA Flagship network. The NBA has designated PSB as one of the "18 best-in-class youth basketball organizations" that share the Jr. NBA’s vision for how the game should be taught and played at the grassroots level. PSB adheres to NBA and USA Basketball Youth Basketball Guidelines, implements coach licensing requirements, provides resources to educate coaches and parents, and is committed to improving the overall youth basketball experience.

About the Role
PSB is seeking coaches to lead club basketball teams in Colorado Springs, CO for the 2026 Fall Season. Coaching involves 1-2 practices per week and weekend league/tournament games. Teams are available for boys and/or girls at elementary, middle, and high school levels, spanning advanced, intermediate, and beginner skill levels.
This is a paid, part-time hourly role ideal for experienced coaches, recent college graduates, or anyone passionate about basketball who wants to positively impact youth in their community.
Coaches report directly to City Directors, with potential for growth and promotion both within and outside PSB.
Responsibilities
- Develop practice plans and lead team practices with positive energy and clear direction.
- Coach games, including substitution patterns, X's and O's, timeout management, and other in-game activities.
- Coach and develop players in alignment with PSB’s mission and values.
- Communicate regularly with team families regarding logistics and activities.
- Maintain consistent engagement with PSB stakeholders and address concerns promptly with a positive attitude.
- Work with PSB management to ensure proper staff coverage during absences.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of high school basketball playing experience.
- 1+ years of previous coaching experience (preferred).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional, organized, reliable, dependable, and accountable.
