Responsibilities
- Intensive therapeutic and trauma focused services to families in their homes or in the community.
- Completion of psychiatric diagnostic assessment and treatment planning.
- Being mobile and flexible with time in order to meet with clients and their families for 3-5 hours per week.
- Carry an average caseload of up to 6 clients/families at a time.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the clinical record through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
- Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment according to HIPPA guidelines. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
Qualifications
- Absolutely required: Master’s degree.
- Preferred: LSW, LISW, LPC, or LPCC, MFT or IMFT.
- First Aid and CPR training required and provided by agency.
- Minimum of two years (including internship, etc.) of experience working with youth and families in a mental health setting.
- Knowledge of the DSM-5 and diagnostic criteria.
- Sensitivity in relating to persons of varying backgrounds and demonstrated ability to work with diverse groups of people possessing various strengths, aptitudes, and abilities.
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with a high degree of initiative and independent judgment.
- Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills.
- Practical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Experience in working with children, adolescents and their families. Demonstrated clinical experience in chemical dependency treatment.

Pay
Salary of $62,400-$72,000 - The base salary of $62,400 is augmented by a $5,000 sign on bonus and $2,000 quarterly productivity bonuses.
Schedule
Includes a need for evening or weekend hours in order to provide services to families when they are available. The IHBT therapist will provide individual and family therapy with a special focus on trauma work as well as provide care coordination with any other systems or agencies involved in the family’s care.
