Responsibilities
- Promote hope and empowerment through support and meetings with clients
- Empower clients to exercise autonomy in all aspects of their lives
- Use principles and practices of youth development and trauma informed care to create a safe and therapeutic environment
- Foster an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity
- Foster the youth’s skills and interests and mentor their positive development
- Implement program activities that are safe and foster personal growth and healthy choices
- Promote responsible and healthy decision-making among youth
- Implement applicable safety and emergency requirements including use of crisis prevention and de-escalation skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or related experience
- Experience working with youth
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license and reliable transportation
- Must be 21 years of age or older by start date
Schedules Available
- 7am-3pm, Wednesday-Sunday (Monday, Tuesday off)
- 3pm-11pm, Thursday-Monday (Tuesday/ Wednesday off)
- 3pm-11pm, Saturday-Wednesday (Thursday/Friday off)
- 11pm-7am, Thursday-Monday (Tuesday/ Wednesday off)
