Job Summary
Eliot – A Place to Belong, Grow, and Inspire Change seeks compassionate, service-oriented Youth Advocates to work in a staff-secure setting for court-involved youth, ages 13 to 21 within our Juvenile Justice residential network.
Responsibilities
- Use principles and practices of youth development and trauma-informed care to create a safe and therapeutic environment
- Promote an inclusive, welcoming, and respectful environment that embraces diversity
- Foster the youth’s skills and interests and mentor their positive development
- Implement program activities that are safe and foster personal growth and healthy choices
- Promote responsible and healthy decision-making among youth
- Implement applicable safety and emergency requirements including use of crisis prevention and de-escalation skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or related experience
- Experience working with youth
- Valid Massachusetts drivers license and have reliable transportation
- Must be 21 years of age or older by start date
Schedules Available
- 3pm-11pm, Friday-Tuesday (Wednesday/Thursday off)
- 11pm-7am, Friday-Tuesday, (Wednesday, Thursday off)
- 11pm-7am, Saturday-Wednesday, (Thursday, Friday off)
Pay
$20.65 - $20.65 USD
