Overview
Eliot is currently looking for a Youth Advocate Coordinator in our Juvenile Justice residential program for court involved youth ages 13 to 21.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily activities for staff and youth
- Supervise direct care staff ensuring policies are adhered to and expectations are met
- Ensure safety and security, including security checks
- Aid in developing and implementing Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
- Promote teamwork among staff and youth, fostering a supportive environment
- Help youth identify goals and interests
- Cultivate a positive program environment
- Assign and lead daily group activities
- Serve as an advocate and role model for youth
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice or related field
- At least two years experience with the population
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
- Supervisory experience is preferred
Schedule
3pm-11pm, Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday/Monday off)
