Youth Adult Support Specialist
Job Summary
Join our team to become a Youth & Adult Support Specialist in Brown County. Provide individual skill development and support to both youth and adults referred through the Comprehensive Community Services (CCS) Program. Help clients achieve their individualized goals by assisting them in their journey toward success.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze youth capabilities, strengths and problems to determine the services required to meet the unique needs of youth.
- Implement, evaluate and review youth goals in collaboration with team members, youth and their families.
- Exercise judgment to intervene as an advocate for youth in school, the community and during emergency and crisis situations.
- Attend youth/family team meetings.
- Organize and facilitate individual meetings and structured recreational activities that assist youth in developing pro-social skills and connections.
- Safely transport clients as needed.
Location
Position will travel throughout Brown County area to meet with clients within the home or other community spaces, with mileage reimbursement. Flexibility is available for some hybrid/WFH hours when client visits are not scheduled, for documentation.
Shift
Part-time leading to full-time. Hours are varied, typically during business hours Monday-Friday between 9:00am and 6:00pm, with occasional weekends.
