Your Training Didn’t Stop Being Valuable When You Left Service
Closet Factory Houston designs and installs custom storage solutions for homeowners across Houston. We meet clients in their homes, understand their specific needs, design a solution built around how they actually live, and install it with precision.
Role Requirements
- Process discipline. We have a defined eight-step consultative sales process. It works when it is executed faithfully. Your history of following a defined process under pressure is directly applicable here.
- Volumes and consistency. Full production is 32 appointments per month. That is a high standard. It is also a reachable one for someone who has operated under demanding performance expectations.
- Service orientation. The homeowner is not a target. They are a client with a real problem that is affecting their daily life. Your job is to genuinely understand that problem and solve it. The same orientation that made you effective in service makes you effective here.
- Resilience. Not every appointment closes. The designers who succeed here analyze what went wrong, adjust, and go again. That is a skill set the military develops systematically.
- Coachability. We debrief every appointment. We role play. We push our team to improve continuously. If you thrived under a training and evaluation culture, you will thrive here.
What You Get
- Company-generated leads. You are not cold calling or prospecting. Your calendar is filled by the company. Your job is to execute.
- A defined process with clear standards. You will know exactly what is expected of you and how your performance is evaluated.
- Active coaching and development. This is not a role where you figure it out alone. You will be trained, shadowed, debriefed, and supported by a manager who is invested in your success.
- An income that reflects your output. At full production and our current team closing ratio, designers earn over $100k annually. That figure is transparent, calculable, and achievable. It is also significantly higher than most civilian roles that claim to value military experience.
- A team that holds itself to a standard. We are building a team of people who perform consistently, take their craft seriously, and push each other to improve. That culture should feel familiar.
Qualifications
- You served honorably and you are ready to bring that discipline to a civilian career that actually uses it.
- You have a specific income goal that you are committed to achieving.
- You thrive in structured, process-driven environments with clear performance standards.
- You are service-oriented by nature — you find genuine satisfaction in solving problems for people.
- You are resilient enough to handle rejection without taking it personally and competitive enough to use it as motivation.
