Learn & Grow Creative Arts Center LLC in Hermitage, TN is seeking a qualified Young Toddler Teacher to work with Infant / Toddler (0–2) in a center-based environment. This position requires no formal credential — just relevant experience.

L&G CAC is currently accepting applications for an energetic Young Toddler Teacher to join our team! Ages in this specific classroom are typically 18 mo-2-year-olds. Each teacher has a set schedule between the hours of 7am-5pm. This position has a typical schedule of 8-430p M-F.

What You'll Do

• Develop a careful and creative program suitable for toddlers
• Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, etc.) to teach children
• Observe each child to help them improve their social skills and build self-esteem
• Guide children to develop their social/emotional and developmental capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum / play
• Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
• Engage in teaching / play at the children's level
• Collaborate with other educators
• Work independently
• Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards

Requirements

• This position is immediate hire with the passing of a background check, completing the required online trainings, providing 3 references, and a physical.
• Applicants must have a copy of their HS diploma at a minimum.
• Experience teaching in childcare centers and knowledge of DHS rules with at least one year previous teaching experience preferred.
• All applicants will receive substantial on the job training once hired.

• Proven experience as an Infant / Toddler teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and infant/toddler educational methods
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Friendly and reliable
• Team player with the ability to take direction from the Program Director.
• Balance between creativity and structure
• Certification in infant/child CPR
• Minimum education level = HS Diploma

Benefits

• This Young Toddler Teacher role pays $15 to $17/Hr.
