Young Adult Minister

About the Role

Matthew Road is seeking a Young Adult Minister to primarily serve Young Couples (newlyweds, nearly-weds, and families with young children) and Young Adults/College Students. The primary goal is to establish a thriving young adult community within the church, with a secondary focus on ministering to young professionals and college students. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable teaching and preaching from the pulpit.

Responsibilities

• Minister to Young Couples and Young Adults/College Students
• Build and grow a thriving young adult contingency within the church
• Teach and preach from the pulpit
• Organize and lead ministry activities and programs

Requirements

• Some experience with student ministry or college ministry as a minister or ministry intern
• 1–5 years of ministry experience in at least a part-time capacity
• Comfortable with leading, ministering, teaching, and preaching
