About the role

The Health & Wellness department is seeking a Yoga Fitness Instructor for the upcoming Winter season (November – April). The Fitness Instructor leads group or individual classes, delivering engaging and safe sessions tailored to Members and guests of all skill levels.

Responsibilities

• Ensure outstanding guest service by greeting and acknowledging every Member and guest, maintaining service standards, and demonstrating product knowledge.
• Guarantee total guest satisfaction with professionalism, hospitality, and ethical handling of all transactions.
• Apply property safety and security procedures to maintain a secure environment; report accidents or emergencies immediately.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all employees to foster a collaborative environment.
• Teach classes in Yoga, Spin, Boot Camp, Kick Boxing, and/or Mat Pilates.
• Anticipate and address Member and guest service needs; assist individuals with disabilities with genuine interest.
• Maintain professionalism in all interactions with Members, guests, and co-workers.
• Develop and support team goals; respond appropriately to feedback from co-workers.
• Clean and prepare the instruction space after each class.
• Open and close the Camphouse facility daily according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide detailed descriptions of the fitness center, equipment, events, and lessons to Members and guests.
• Promote facility services, lessons, sessions, and retail actively.
• Keep the facility clean and amenities stocked; assist in other areas of Camphouse as directed.
• Comply with quality assurance standards and report unsafe conditions.
• Prepare classes by cleaning props, room, and equipment.
• Perform duties efficiently in accordance with Club policies and service standards.
• Maintain productivity, punctuality, attendance, and consistency standards.
• Communicate regularly with employees, supervisors, and managers.
• Maintain a clean, neat appearance and uphold Member privacy at all times.
• Project a favorable image of Yellowstone Club to Members and guests.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; long hours may be required.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or vocational training; minimum one year of experience in Yoga, Spin, Boot Camp, Kick Boxing, and/or Mat Pilates.
• Current, valid CPR and basic first aid certification.
• Ability to instruct group and individual classes for all skill levels.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
• Ability to speak and write clearly and legibly.
• Basic math skills and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Work Environment

The position is primarily indoors but may require working outside in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, wind, snow). The role involves exposure to distracting noise levels, requiring hearing protection.

Physical Demands

• Frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
• Constantly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, or reach.
• Constantly use hands and fingers to handle or lift items.
• Constantly interact with lift passengers and maintain visual acuity for safety and equipment maintenance.

Pay

50% of compensation comes from commissions (including Service Charge but excluding voluntary gratuity). The position is commissioned and exempt from overtime.
