Year Round - Dog Walking Specialist

What You'll Do

• Walk dogs in neighborhoods, on beaches, and on local trails
• Lead structured walks and small-group hikes
• Visit cats at home for feeding, litter, play, and medication
• Send photo updates and detailed visit reports
• Provide vacation drop-in care
• Drive between visits across our service area
• Expand your knowledge with continuing education about dog behavior

Schedule

• Part-time (2-5 hrs/day)
• Year-round role
• Consistency required - our clients depend on seeing the same face each week
• Primary need: Tues/Wed/Thurs, 9 AM - 1 PM or 10 AM - 2 PM
• We will also consider candidates available Monday-Friday
• Optional evenings, weekends, and overnights if you want them

What We're Looking For

• Dog Lovers who are 18+ years old
• Genuine love for animals; patient and respectful
• Reliable, communicative, detail-oriented
• Calm and confident around fearful, reactive, or excitable dogs
• Comfortable outdoors in all weather
• Able to handle large or strong dogs (90+ lbs)
• Physically active; able to walk several miles per day
• Reliable vehicle, valid license, clean driving record, current auto insurance
• Smartphone with data and ability to pass a background check
