What You'll Do
- Walk dogs in neighborhoods, on beaches, and on local trails
- Lead structured walks and small-group hikes
- Visit cats at home for feeding, litter, play, and medication
- Send photo updates and detailed visit reports
- Provide vacation drop-in care
- Drive between visits across our service area
- Expand your knowledge with continuing education about dog behavior
Schedule
- Part-time (2-5 hrs/day)
- Year-round role
- Consistency required - our clients depend on seeing the same face each week
- Primary need: Tues/Wed/Thurs, 9 AM - 1 PM or 10 AM - 2 PM
- We will also consider candidates available Monday-Friday
- Optional evenings, weekends, and overnights if you want them
Pay & Benefits
- $16.94/hour during paid training
- $17-$22/hour standard job pay

What We're Looking For
- Dog Lovers who are 18+ years old
- Genuine love for animals; patient and respectful
- Reliable, communicative, detail-oriented
- Calm and confident around fearful, reactive, or excitable dogs
- Comfortable outdoors in all weather
- Able to handle large or strong dogs (90+ lbs)
- Physically active; able to walk several miles per day
- Reliable vehicle, valid license, clean driving record, current auto insurance
- Smartphone with data and ability to pass a background check
