About the role
Westminster is seeking a Yardi Support Analyst to provide application support services to our property management, development, and corporate offices. This dynamic role blends application setup, user support, training, and expertise in MS Excel-based reporting tools, document automation, and custom report creation.
Responsibilities
- Field client requests via ticketing systems, email, or phone and interpret them accurately.
- Enter and manage cases in the support ticketing system.
- Set up and configure new locations as requested by business units.
- Identify repeat requests, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions to reduce repetitive tasks.
- Develop and document plans, policies, standards, procedures, and checklists.
- Provide support for assigned software applications and create custom ad-hoc reports.
- Enhance performance and functionality of the Yardi platform to meet business objectives.
- Provide remote training for clients via web meetings (e.g., GoToMeeting, WebEx).
- Proactively communicate updates on platform status and issues to management.
- Identify, recommend, and implement Yardi solutions and improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation related to Yardi usage and functionality.
- Ensure ticket resolution addresses client needs with appropriate detail and within a reasonable timeframe.
- Escalate unresolvable service requests to management for appropriate handling.
- Document and share best practices with internal teams.
- Assist Asset Managers in preparing annual asset business plans, operating budgets, and capital budgets, and monitor performance against these budgets.
- Spearhead the rollout and implementation of Yardi modules and related interfaces, including Rent Café, Rent Maximizer, Procure to Pay, Yardi Accounting, Yardi Budgeting, Residential Module, Commercial Module, and Job Cost.
- Design specific Accounting, Development, and Operational Reports at the request of the CFO.
- Demonstrate flexibility to assist in other areas as needed to meet organizational demands.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Yardi experience (maintenance and development), preferably in a multifamily environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Microsoft SQL Database management and SSRS Reporting experience.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Yardi, and SQL, including stored procedure creation and report layout.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with the ability to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to model leadership qualities such as integrity, drive, courage, and initiative.
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills, with a focus on problem-solving.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-player mindset.
