Yard Worker (3393)

About the role

The Yard Worker ensures Ironclad’s containers are cleaned, repaired, and fully operational for rental. This role involves performing a variety of general labor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor mechanical repairs on equipment at customer sites.
• Conduct pump and hose evaluations and repairs.
• Set up and disassemble equipment as needed.
• Pressure wash equipment and perform berm repairs.
• Handle labeling and inventory management tasks.
• Load and unload equipment.
• Perform minor welding and electrical work.
• Carry out general housekeeping to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Truck
• Trailers
• Maintenance tools for repairs
• Electrical hand tools (preferred)
• Gas-powered forklift
• Load pulling/load securement chains, straps, winch
• Cell phone
• Computer – for timekeeping

Requirements

• 0-2 years of experience with general labor and general repairs
• High School Diploma or GED
• Welding experience preferred
• Current Driver’s License
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Strict adherence to all company safety protocols and standards (this is a safety-sensitive role)
