At EquipmentShare, we’re assembling a team to transform the construction industry through innovative technology, real-time support, and a people-first culture. We’re hiring a Yard Technician at our rental facility in Monroe, LA to help maintain our storage yard and support daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Inspect and report equipment condition before and after usage
- Document incoming and outgoing equipment
- Assist with routine inspections, repairs, maintenance, and equipment cleaning
- Demonstrate, load, and unload equipment
- Maintain equipment inventory systems according to standard operating procedures
- Perform general yard and shop cleanup in accordance with company standards
- Maintain a safe and hazard-free workplace
- Advocate for EquipmentShare’s culture and uphold high standards of customer experience
- Assist with various other duties as assigned by the General Manager
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Overtime pay after 40 hours
- Subject to on-call scheduling with additional compensation provided

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to work outside during extreme temperatures
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and stoop
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
- Must be at least 18 years old
